Coimbatore: What can be called “heights of love” for a dog, a woman committed suicide when her father told her she could no longer keep pet dog with her.

On receiving the details, Kevitha, 24, a private sector employee, had owned a pet dog named Cesar for the past two years. Since the dog’s constant barking bothered neighbors, her father told her to abandon the pet dog but she did not listen to it words.

On Wednesday night, the dog started barking in fear, as it was raining heavily, thunder flashes and lightning. Unable to barge in, neighbors told her father to relieve her.

The next day he scolded his daughter and told him to kill the dog in another area. Coimbatore police said that, unable to speak strictly and bear the brunt of separation from her pets, Kavitha committed suicide by hanging herself in her room Thursday evening.

Police arrived at the scene and recovered the body and an alleged letter that he allegedly wrote. According to the contents of the letter, she has apologized to her and told her family to take care of her dog and that everyone should live in peace.
