HYDERABAD: Another RTC employee succumbed to a heart attack, upset over the management’s decision not to take 48,000 TSRTC employees back on duty.
Rajendra, an employee of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), hailed from Mangalapad village, Edapalli mandal in Nizamabad district. He was working as a driver at Bodhan Bus Depot in Nizamabad district.
RTC MD Sunil Sharma said on Monday that the agitating TSRTC employees would not be taken back to their duties. Rajender suffered a heart attack for fear of losing his job. He died on his way to the hospital for treatment.
RTC activists said that Rajender was upset after the Telangana government refused to take the employees back to work again.
