Telangana: With the arrest of four people, Cyberbad police have lodged a complaint against the murder of veterinarian Dr P Priyanka Reddy (26), who was burnt by an under-bridge near Chatanpally village near the ORR in Shamshabad on Friday morning. The body was found.
According to details, four people, including a lorry driver, cleaner and two others. All the men, ranging in age from 20 to 25, have been arrested on charges of rape and murder. It was reported as a pre-planned rape and murder and was said to be keeping an eye on its movements. The tire of her vehicle, which she had parked near the Tondupalli Toll Plaza, was deliberately punctured and she was trapped in the vehicle.
Shamshabad DCP N Prakash Reddy, under the supervision of Cyberbad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, formed 15 special teams to resolve the matter. They collected footage from surveillance cameras near the spread between the Tool Gate and the Bangalore National Highway. Dr. Priyanka’s two videos show her riding a tool gate alone, and another shows her talking to an unknown person.
The Cyberabad police also recovered the victim’s inner clothes, shoes and liquor bottle near the toll plaza where Priyanka Reddy parked her two-wheeler.
According to the description, she was forcibly taken by these four men, who were drunk at around 9:40 am, when she made the last call to her sister Bhavna Reddy. According to the post-mortem report, she was gang-raped, tortured and strangled in the vacant land behind Tondupalli Toll Plaza on Outer Ring Road in Shamshabad.
They carried the corpse and its two-wheeler in a lorry. They removed the license plates and left the vehicles 40 km away from the site and, knowing that the Chatanapalli bridge near Shadnagar town in Ranga Reddy district was a desolate place, they went there. After which they wrapped her body in a bed sheet, put kerosene and burnt it. They burnt the body there and escaped.
Police believe that a lorry driver named Mohammed Pasha from Narayanpet in Mehboob Nagar district was the main suspect.
