New Delhi: A day after the body of a 27-year-old vet on the outskirts of Telangana, which sparked national outrage, a Delhi girl sat alone for hours on a silent protest on Saturday morning. The young girl, identified as name Anu, was seen angering at Delhi Police officials when they asked her not to sit in the area. She was also showing a placard with a slogan written in a bold red color, “WHY? I CAN’T FEEL SAFE AT MY MYOWN BHARAT”. The girl was also seen crying while sitting on the protest. Delhi Police officials reached the protest site and requested the girl to end her protest or go to Jantar-Mantar.
However, she was later driven away by the police in a police car and was seen going inside. He was detained by the police and allegedly tortured by the police. Police said that the girl was taken to a police station and after talking to her by some officers she was asked to go home. He did not share details about his identity.
Yesterday, Telangana police arrested four accused in the case of alleged rape and murder of a female vet in Shadnagar area of Ranga Reddy district. The police have identified the accused as Mohammad Arif, Zulu Siva, Zulu Naveen and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu.
A burnt body of a Dr Priyanka was found on the Shadnagar outskirts of Ranga Reddy district of Telangana. According to preliminary investigation, police suspect that the vet sexually assaulted her.
Yesterday, another dead body of an unknown woman was found on the outskirts of Shamshabad near Siddula Gutta temple.
