Hyderabad: Police said that the post-mortem of four accused in the rape and murder of a young veterinarian was completed at a government hospital in Mahbubnagar district on Friday.
The post-mortem was videographed, he said.
Earlier, on 9th December the Telangana High Court had directed the state government to preserve the bodies of the four accused till 8:00 pm.
It was also ordered that the video of the post-mortem in compact disc form or pen-drive be handed over to the Principal District Judge, RR District Mahboob Nagar after completion of the post-mortem.
RR District Police said that the post-mortem was done at the Government District Hospital in Mahboob Nagar under the supervision of a forensic team of doctors and superintendents of the Govt Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad.
Police said all four accused were shot dead by the police on Friday during the pre-exchange of fire near Hyderabad.
The four were arrested on November 29 for allegedly strangling a 25-year-old woman and later burning her body.
