At least Two People Were Killed In Chittoor Road Accident :APSRTC

Chittoor: At least two people were killed when an APSRTC bus boarded a private bus early Thursday morning. The driver of the APSRTC bus and his assistant died at the scene of the accident at Kasipentla village of Chatur.
According to details, the accident occurred around 4:30 am when the APSRTC bus collided with a private passenger bus, which was reportedly speeding. The private bus is said to be on the right side of the road.
The driver of the APSRTC bus, Ramesh Babu and his assistant Prasad, both from Krishna district, died in the accident.
The driver of the private bus, Lakshmanariya, and his assistant Jeppal, are said to be in critical condition, suffering serious injuries in the accident. The injured were taken to Sri Venkateshwara Raju Hospital in Tirupati and told that they were out of danger.
The private bus, consisting of 30 Ayyappa devotees, was traveling from Sabarimala in Kerala to Nalgonda district in Telangana.
