India’s First Mobile ICU For Coronavirus Patients In Telangana State

HYDERABAD: In a first of its kind, Telangana got a mobile intensive care unit for equipped with two ventilators and three beds in a bus for COVID-19 patients.
The MCICU, as the mobile Covid-19 ICU is developed and conceptualised by a charity organisation, Grace Cancer Foundation here in partnership with others. It is meant to be positioned in areas of the greatest need in Hyderabad.
These mobile ICUs has facilities like ventilator, imaging, tele radiology, e-ICU, ultrasound among others. Swab samples of the patients can also be collected in a contactless manner in this mobile ICU.
