Software engineer of Kamareddy has Committed Suicide in Bengaluru

A software engineer hailing from Kamareddy died under suspicious circumstances in Bengaluru on Friday.

Sharanya (25) had fallen in love with Rohith, also a software engineer hailing from Kamareddy district, and the two got married last year. After their marriage, they shifted to Bengaluru.

Police sources said Rohith was an alcoholic and had been harassing Sharanya for the past few months. Upset by his behavior, Sharanya returned to her parent’s house and filed for divorce. As per law, the court suggested that the couple waits for six months, and if they still fail to find a solution, divorce would then be granted.

Following this, Rohith assured Sharanya that he would mend his ways, and the latter returned to Bengaluru three months ago. Rohith, however, continued to consume liquor and beat up his wife several times. Unable to bear the harassment, Sharanya committed suicide by hanging herself in her house in Bengaluru. Sharanya’s parents have alleged that their son-in-law killed Sharanya and tried to make it out as if she committed suicide.
